Since the creation of social media algorithms, there has been a decline in body positivity, but could this worsen if the women we are seeing aren’t real? This could be a glimpse into our future after US Vogue’s August magazine included an AI generated model. She’s tall, blonde and skinny, which raises many concerns if this lack of diversity is setting us backwards in women’s body image issues. Amelia investigates what actions are being taken to support our body image in the digital era.
